Yes I did. I now have a summer job in Makati as a call center agent.
My training just started last week and that wasn’t easy for me. I kinda had a hard time coping with different people at first. I wasn’t really confident at all especially when our trainer asked me to do a sample order right in the front of my co-trainees. It was a mess.
But day by day, I finally learned to adapt and my annoying nervousness slowly subsided. I also gained friends, most of them are guys. They’re really easy to get along with.
And then yesterday, on our nesting, we did live calls. My first and only last call was from a woman in Texas who wants to order flowers for her mother this coming mother’s day. It was awesome. I made like three mistakes though but I made a sale. I did it! and take note, my hands weren’t shaking. :)
So this week on our second week of work and first week of live calls, I hope I do better. We’re gonna do some customer service so really, good luck to me on that.
